On January 27, 1756 the grand master of occidental ballroom dancing Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart was born. To celebrate his 250th birthday worthily on today's dance floors the musicians of the Star Sounds Orchestra and Blue Violin dressed some of his compositions from "Zauberflöte" and "Kleine Nachtmusik" up with the sounds of the 21. century. STEVE SCHROYDER (formerly i.a. a member of "Tangerine Dream" and "Augenstern") and JENS ZYGAR met in 1989 at a workshop for the "Cosmic Octave" and in the same year founded the STAR SOUNDS ORCHESTRA. Since then they have been a constant in the history of electronic cosmic music. The violinist BEATE "BABY BLUE" and the pianist MICHAEL SAMAY joined on January 27, 1999, to found BLUE VIOLIN. The two are a popular live-duo, their repertory covering all styles of occidental and Latin-American music from classic to pop. In winter of 2004/2005 they started working on the joint music project STAR SOUNDS ORCHESTRA featuring BLUE VIOLIN. On the track "Easy Osiris" the singer IRINA MIKHAILOVA, "Diva of World Music" from San Francisco was involved with her matchless voice.
