After their much acclaimed debut Schmutzige Liebe (Dirty Love) 2003, the full velocity rockers are again pushing the pedal right down to the metal: broad, loud, and right smack into the face. Like no other band, Ohrenfeindt are a symbol for St. Pauli and the Kiez. Their songs tell stories of life: about love, falling down and getting back up, rock, roll and silicone tits in the end there's always got to a silver lining on the horizon. As with the first CD, Rock'n'Roll Sexgott was produced by Ohrenfeindt and Ronnie Henseler (ex- Prollhead). Henseler also created the ultimate hi end broad soundscape of the album a sound the like of which is rather to be found on major productions mastered in New York like AC/DC's Stiff Upper Lip, which obviously served as orientation. Rock'n'Roll Sexgott is dominated by ultra hard rock tracks like the title song or Zum Rocken Geboren (Born to Rock). Then again some songs like Ein Allerletztes Mal (A Very Last Time) or So Laut wie ich Kann (As Loud as I can) just touch you with their raw and direct language without harboring any Germany clichès. Responsible for the songs, the lyrics, and the artwork is the mastermind of the band, Chris Laut.
